About WhereCanIGo
An interactive globe for figuring out where your passport can take you.
What this is
WhereCanIGo shows visa requirements for travelers, mapped by passport. Pick your passport and the globe colors every country by how hard it is to enter — green is easy (visa-free or visa on arrival), red is hard (requires a consular visa). Click any country for the specifics: entry type, maximum stay, requirements, and a link to the official government source.
Where the data comes from
Every destination entry is sourced from an official government page — usually the destination country's foreign affairs ministry, embassy, or e-visa portal. The source URL is shown directly in each country's detail popup, so you can verify the information yourself.
Each entry also carries a verified date. This is the date the source was last manually checked. Visa policies change frequently — if an entry hasn't been verified recently, treat it as a starting point and confirm with the official source before booking.
Limitations
- Curation depth varies by passport. Newly added passports may have fewer destinations populated than long-standing ones.
- Special cases — diplomatic passports, dual nationals, recent arrivals from a third country, transit-only travel — are not modeled. Always check with the airline and the destination consulate.
- Travel advisories and entry policies can change without notice, especially in response to health, security, or political events.
